Slice of Life Day 3
There is something about a snow day that always bring a hopeful sense of joy! Now, snow days are not what they used to be and it makes me sad that my own kids will never experience the day being called off and having nothing to do but play in the snow, drink hot chocolate, and watch movies. Still, there is something exciting about staying home, not having to drive to school, and starting a school day a little bit later. The thought of wearing comfy clothes and having an extra large cup of coffee in hand as the snow comes down sounds oh so nice! What would make this snow day even better is that tomorrow is a shortened institute day with no students in attendance! I would be the student and the administrators the teachers. Sounds like a pretty great snow day to me! Fingers crossed, here’s to hoping!
